Heritage Oaks G&CC has been host to FJT events, High School Districts and Regionals, and many other junior events. Paul Azinger's (former PGA major winner) brother Jed Azinger is the golf course architect of this tricky and tight par 71 Course.

Palm Aire Country Club was founded and opened as DeSoto Lakes Golf Club. The Champions Course, which is the original golf course was designed by renowned golf course architect, Dick Wilson.

1960 – PGA Tour comes to DeSoto Lakes

Desoto Lakes hosted several major events in the 1960’s; the “Desoto Open” a PGA Tour event which was won by PGA legend Sam Snead. “All Star Golf” which was narrated by Jimmy Demaret, and in later years became known as the Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf.

Palm Aire Country Club is a vibrant and active Country Club with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where members consider themselves part of the Palm Aire Family.
